March 12 - 19, 2006       Self Care Workshop and Healing Retreat
Description: Join us for an incredible seven-day journey as we explore, study, play, and touch the ancient wisdom that still thrives with Rosita Arvigo and the people of the Belize Rain Forest. We consider this to be women's spirit journey as we celebrate time spent together in nature, canoeing the rivers as we travel through ancient Maya ruins.

Our time will be spent learning the ancient Maya technique of uterine massage, "The Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Massage", an external, non-invasive traditional therapy used to treat women's health imbalances. For details view the brochure.

Cost: $1700 includes lodging/meals at Duplooy's Jungle Lodge in San Ignacio, Belize, day tours, round trip shuttle from the Belize International Airport.
Deposit: $400 (non refundable due December 15, 2005), balance due by January 31, 2006

Instructor: Diane MacDonald, MSN ARNP is a Family Nurse Practitioner, Certified Arvigo Practitioner and Self Care Instructor. She is owner of her holistic practice "Eorthan Madder Botanikals" in Dunbarton, N.H., and is Program Coordinator for Dr. Arvigo's workshops.

Description: What gives your life meaning? And pleasure? Come explore your deeper rhythms under the rainforest canopy and wondrous barrier reef in the land of the ancient Maya. Our journey will take us into the rianforest on the bank of the Macal River, discovering ancient Maya ruins and traditional healing. Group facilitators are Liz Quigg and Lucia Gardner, both massage therapists and Arvigo Certified Self Care Instructors. Between them, they bring years of experience in alternative and spritual healing with a deep connection to Belize.
